I wasn’t able to get off of work to come sign the paperwork, so they had one of their employees make the drive from Forest Lake to Spooner, WI to bring me the paperwork to sign at work. Great price , very freindly, truck was exactly as advertised. But it did take most of the day to get in and out . Bought it about 11 was still waiting for paper work to be finished at 1:30.
We brought our 2016 Buick Encore in for service on 1/29 - Originally it just needed an oil change and tire rotation. As they went through the stand multi-point vehicle inspection though, it was discovered that the coolant reservoir was almost empty & could be smelled by the engine. In pressure testing the cooling system, a leak was found by the water outlet which was cracked. Replacement of water outlet was made & filled - and all was fine again. In addition and per our request, they washed the car windows (it was way too cold to have a car wash). In particular, though, we were extremely pleased with how they also washed/cleaned the inside of the front window - upon our request. We have tried many ways & suggestions to do this ourselves, but it always ends up smeary. The person cleaning it for us this time really knew how to do it; and as I drove the car home against the sunlight, there were no smudges, smears, or streaks. Success at last!
This was our first experience with Fury GMC since they have taken over from Whitaker and it was a very good one. The servicing advisor Eric Pratt remembered us as well when he stayed on with the dealership. It appears that Daniel Holm was the technician on hand (and I'm not sure who did the great job on the windows) - but it was very satisfactorily and well done. Thanks! Took in vehicle, charged for new spark plugs and diagnosis but it didn’t resolve the problem. Brought it back the next day. Hoping dealership will do what’s right to find issue.
**Update: The dealership made several attempts to duplicate the problem, unfortunately, it would not duplicate so still have no answer. However, the dealership was very responsive and did not charge me for the additional Technician time while attempting to locate issue. Very courteous and advised me to bring it in again if the problem resurfaces.

It was outstanding. My son's car had a windshield wiper transmission failure at the start of a 13 hour drive to visit us over the holidays. We got an appointment right away, which was great. The net cost was zero because it was something GMC had a recall on, and they washed and vacuumed the car on top of that. Mike, our service person was very friendly and helpful. Eric Pratt in service and the gentleman in parts went above and beyond in addressing a separate issue with my truck when I was in for routine maintenance. It was small enough problem with my fuel fill tube fastener that they could’ve easily brushed it off, but they researched a solution, installed parts and fixed it all during the oil change. Not a bid deal in their day, but a reasonable irritant for me every time I filled the tank. Thanks for excellent service in the details guys.

At Whitaker I have always felt that the service providers are knowledgeable and do not over recommend service. As a female truck owner it has been a bumpy road with mechanics and service providers who treat women like people. It is refreshing and I am always recommending people go to Whitaker GMC and Buick for service.

Dave Middleton was wonderful! Whitaker was the 4th dealership I had been to that day because I was ready to purchase a vehicle. The first place had a lack of inventory and the next two were very frustrating because they would not look at my trade to give me a price (just estimated with Kelly Blue book without looking at my vehicle) and it was difficult for me to get the sales reps' attention at one of the dealerships. Once I did enter into a conversation I was repeatedly asked when my husband would join us which I felt to be disrespectful.
However, at Whitaker Dave gave me his full attention as soon as I walked in the door, walked me through options for what I said I wanted, walked me through pricing and pretty much had me sold before we got to the car. I was unfamiliar with Acadias before arriving at your deadlership last week and I wanted that vehicle by the time I left. If it had not been so late in the day I would have made the purcahse right then. We know we will need an additional car for our household next year and look forward to connecting with Dave again in 2022. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.
Also, never having had a vehicle with OnStar before, we are really pleased with this service and the new Guardian app option for our family. This technology and the loyalty progam/credit card to earn funds toward a down payment are very attractive. We have been loyal Honda customers for nearly 20 years and have never had that benefit before and appreciate the opportunity to try these programs with GMC.

It was well worth the drive to get a quality clean used car at a really good price. They understood our urgency and when we came to fill out the paperwork we were done so fast and we're able to head back and get back to work.

Dropped my car off for routine maintenance. They let me know when it was done. I asked them to replace some filters if necessary. I appreciate them saying it was not needed at this time.
Dave Middleton, our Sales Consultant was very informative and patient answering all of our questions. We had been looking around for a truck for a while and discovered the one we bought by looking online. It was a couple hour drive for us and Dave assured us that the truck would be there when we got there. It was a no pressure sale (we would have walked away otherwise). Dave knowledgeably pointed out all the bells, whistles, and safety features of the truck without being pushy.
I would also like to say that Gary Miskowic was excellent in assisting us as well, very friendly, helpful, and willing to answer questions in easy to understand terms.

Adam Bernardini in the Service department is the absolute best!! He goes above and beyond every time. I've had a transmission issue for almost the past year. Long story short....he worked with the extended warranty company (warranty had just expired, but he kept such great notes from last summer) and made sure the right thing was done for me and my vehicle. He really cares about his customers! They all do. Have had great experiences with Eric Pratt as well. This is why I continue to use Whitaker for my GM/GMC service needs, and recommend them to others.
